We support a "presumption against development". That does not mean no development should happen but rather that the onus should be on the proposer to demonstrate that the development is needed and also has no more than a neutral environmental impact.

Local councils should be brought back,and managed by people who live in that area, it would be easier then to tackle climate and other issues locally, every home could do something for their community, plant a tree in their garden,or plant in care homes gardens for the wellbeing of the residents, road side verges, parks,all monitored by a local council,
